Haters Gonna Hate

Did you know they remade Elevator Action for the PSN? One of the greatest games I’ve ever played in my life; some quiet nights, I can still hear that 8-bit theme song as it drifts out from the empty hole in my soul. There is just something really transcendentally great about watching guys vapourize as […]

Fuck You, Seattle

PAX Prime has been pretty cool so far…? I’ve been uploading some pictures for my own reference but you can check them here if you’d like. Deus Ex, Dead Island, Torchlight 2, and Bastion all just jumped to the top of my List Of Games To Buy And Ruin My Life with, so there’s that. […]

A Random August Post

As Hurricane Irene lingers over North Carolina and seems destined for retirement, I was shocked this morning when the guys at Tim Hortons mixed up my order. I opened my bagel to find cream cheese and cucumbers in it. Somewhere out there, someone received a bagel with AIDS in it, and I’m not sure if […]

Regarding Meteorology

Did anyone feel that tremor earlier this afternoon? Apparently there was an earthquake in Virginia that was felt all the way up here. The scale of such an event kind of blows my mind…the rumbling I felt in my seat all the way up here on the 11th floor of a Toronto office building was […]

We Skate To One Song And One Song Only

Oh sweet, a new Mass Effect 3 combat trailer that shows basically nothing that we don’t already know already. And yet I still feel obligated to post it. There is actually a weird tug of war happening in my heart between this game and Diablo 3. Assuming current projected timelines, there will be a good […]

It’s Monday night (or technically, 3:00 AM Tuesday morning) and I’m enjoying downloaded television shows on my computer. It’s a weird feeling to have a weekday, knowing that you don’t have to go to work tomorrow; I’ve taken the day off just for kicks. I haven’t eaten in seven hours – I guess normally I’d […]

Shit Just Got Real

Wow, completely forgot again. One of these years, I will remember. Yet another August 5th has passed, marking yet another year that we’re still here. The WAMBAG has existed now for nine years. We arrived eight years before Justin Bieber’s debut studio album, Weezer hadn’t recorded Make Believe yet and was still arguably a good […]

You Are

Thirteen – Elliott Smith Honest. Straightforward. Forthcoming. Transparent. It had been a long day and I was running out of adjectives. ***** The idea was to meet up with Linda sometime on Saturday for coffee, dinner, whatever. Catch up on things. She had texted me a couple of weeks ago asking how I was doing. […]

Destined to fight the world's evil, The WAMBAG endures massive battles involving impossible stunts, races on horse-pulled carriages, and the desecration of enchanting medieval castles (all done with dizzying computer graphics). Not only does the eye candy keep on coming, the tongue-in-cheek writing and deep Transylvanian accents perfect the film with a dose of dark humor.

Tagboard (!?!)

Apparently PHP7 doesn't support the same function calls I wrote in 2008? I should fix this at some point.
