The Declining Of Stairs And Bees

One problem I’m with having dark coloured stairs is that going downstairs at night with the lights off becomes tricky when I can’t tell where the one step ends and the other begins.

The amount of times I’ve walked into open air, Wile E Coyote style, anticipating the ground floor because I’ve miscounted the number of steps, has now reached an embarrassingly high number. I’m pretty sure I would have hyper-extended a knee or something by now if I was a professional baseball player. But sadly I am not a professional baseball player and so luckily I do not have the fragility of a snowflake.

Like many things for me right now, it remains a continuing process.

More stuff…

– Someone illustrated a track off Norm Macdonald’s comedy album (from like 2006?) about the Fantastic Four. Here it is. You know…it raises some good points.

– There is apparently something called CSI: Cyber, which presumably deals with things of a cybernetic nature (ie. cyborgs?), stars Dawson, and is already pretty amazing. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve instinctively searched for higher ground on my right hand side while drunk. …or I guess I really can’t, since it’s instinctive.

– More Spring Training wackiness yesterday, as the start of a game between the Angels and Royals was delayed by bees. Bees!?! Bees. And leave it to Major League Baseball for screwing yet another thing up, sending in a vicious bee murderer to spray liquid death upon them, instead of calling up a gentle beekeeper – many of which might have done this for free. And someone agrees.

“I’ve seen it before,” Royals manager Ned Yost told reporters after KC won 6-4, “but I’ve never seen mass bee genocide like that, though.

“All you have to do is get some smoke. … Trust me, I’m from the country. I live in the country. You take some smoke out there because the queen is in there somewhere, and you get a Shop-Vac and suck ’em all in and take ’em out to the parking lot and let them go. … They’re just honey bees, man. There’s a decline in honey bees. We need ’em.

“It was sad to see, but they had to do what they had to do.”

They are just honey bees, man. There is a decline in honey bees. We need them. Killing them won’t bring back our goddamn honey.

They don’t allow you to have bees in here.

Destined to fight the world's evil, The WAMBAG endures massive battles involving impossible stunts, races on horse-pulled carriages, and the desecration of enchanting medieval castles (all done with dizzying computer graphics). Not only does the eye candy keep on coming, the tongue-in-cheek writing and deep Transylvanian accents perfect the film with a dose of dark humor.

Tagboard (!?!)

Apparently PHP7 doesn't support the same function calls I wrote in 2008? I should fix this at some point.
