(A Random Post)

Ah…24. So good. SO good. The Kim Bauer Glower…just a beautiful – yet fearsome – thing to see. But I think I’m going to unplug my phone between 9:00 and 10:00 on Tuesday nights from now on. That way I won’t be rudely interrupted by jackasses calling me about watching a basketball game tomorrow. Wut!?! That’s right, you are a jackass!

I’m going to take a break from our usual routine of incoherent garbage for a second, because I’ve just been given some very bad news. Rod Roddy, the announcer on The Price Is Right…has died.

Now generally, you couldn’t make me serious if you had a gun to my head…but I am deeply saddened by his death. This man was a huge part of my childhood, and to lose him…was like losing a huge nasty chunk of my own soul. When I was 12 or 13, I had an entire schedule of television planned out during the summer, such that I could spend an entire day watching nothing but television. And not go insane. I don’t remember it anymore – maybe I should have written it down at some point – but The Price Is Right was a huge monster up the middle, helping to bridge the gap between morning programs and after school cartoons. It was like the perfect bench player. I loved that show – I still do – and Rod Roddy was a big reason why. So it’s too bad to see him go. And I’m not going to use one of those Satan-telling-him-“Come-on-down!”-jokes that I’ve been hearing…but I think I just did. I’m sorry Mr. Roddy.

Usual The WAMBAG broadcast to return tomorrow.

Destined to fight the world's evil, The WAMBAG endures massive battles involving impossible stunts, races on horse-pulled carriages, and the desecration of enchanting medieval castles (all done with dizzying computer graphics). Not only does the eye candy keep on coming, the tongue-in-cheek writing and deep Transylvanian accents perfect the film with a dose of dark humor.

Tagboard (!?!)

Apparently PHP7 doesn't support the same function calls I wrote in 2008? I should fix this at some point.
